Abstract
The Great Court project at the British Museum has involved restoring the facades around the court and putting a glazed roof over the space between the facades and the circumference of the round Reading Room which stands in the centre of the courtyard. Gives working details of the services design in the new structure. Architects: Foster & Partners. Structural, mechanical and electrical engineers: Buro Happold.
