Abstract
Guidance on layout, landscaping and security measures aimed at deterring burglars from selecting and entering dwellings, whether new, existing, single or multiple units. Advice is given on measures to enhance the security of windows and external doors, access control, intruder deterrent and detection systems, including the use and deployment of CCTV. To be read in conjunction with BS 5588-1.
