Details methods of test for determining water absorption, amount of crazing, resistance to seven different chemicals and resistance to staining and to burning for vitreous china sanitary appliances. Includes definitions of various defects, together with tables of permissible defects in different appliances. Also deals with quality of glazing and with dimensional tolerances.
