Abstract
Precast concrete is a versatile flooring product which has long been an efficient solution for a wide range of buildings. For floors in housing it offers a unique range of benefits. Precast concrete floors for housing can be of hollowcore units, beam and block or beam and pot. Structural floor depths are usually 150mm. The overall floor depth depends on the chosen surface finish and the ceiling, when required.
