Abstract
The Information Society Technologies Programme aims to encourage networking of people and organisations across borders. Partnering is the way forward for the construction industry to improve its competitiveness in the world market. For an effective partnership to operate within a virtual enterprise, supporting ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) systems and tools are essential for improved efficiency and flexibility. The ITS Programme offers various services that help move research development into commercial products. This publication presents a selection of recent results arising from EU RTS achievements in the European construction industry.
