Abstract

Summarises the results of a research project to study the behaviour of fine grained soils under a repeated loading regime similar to that experienced in road subgrades. The objective was to provide information on the resilient characteristics of subgrade soils and information on the development of permanent strains, under repeated loading, in a form which could be used for structural analysis and pavement design.
