Abstract

Defines two conditions which tend to occur under stable conditions and which may be taken as extreme cases. They are described by relative luminance distributions: the luminance of any point in the sky is given as a function of the zenith luminance. This standard supersedes CIE Overcast Sky: 1955, and CIE Clear Sky: 1973.
