Abstract
Suggests two methods whereby the capacity of buildings used for further education may be assessed. Method A is suitable for making a general assessment of the capacity of a number of colleges taken together, or a rough assessment for a single college. Method B is suitable for making a more detailed assessment of college buildings taking into account accommodation categories and their mix.
