Abstract

Intended for use where: an architect or a contract administrator has been appointed on behalf of the employer, a grant is to be made under Part 1 of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, works are agreed to be carried out for an agreed lump sum without provision for fluctuations, and drawings and/or specifications and/or schedules have been prepared. When works are granted by a local authority it may be used as an alternative to the JCT agreement for minor works.
