Abstract

Design that follows the guidance will be acceptable for both flat roofs and balconies. For the purposes of this Chapter, a flat roof should be regarded as having a maximum slope of 10° from the horizontal. Covers: decking, thermal insulation, waterproofing and surface finishes, rainwater drainage and access for maintenance.
