Abstract
Describes how managers, together with their employees, can cooperate to minimise the risks of upper limb disorders (ULDs) through a positive management approach. It gives general guidance on the processes involved and includes a risk assessment filter and worksheets as well as information on the medical aspects of ULDs and the legal requirements. Replaces ‘Work-related upper limb disorders - A guide to prevention’ and reflects the changes in our understanding of risk factors and control strategies which have emerged from research over the last decade.
