Abstract
Explains the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation Order and Trees in Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1981, which state that the planning authority is now responsible for confirmation of all tree preservation orders without involving the Secretary of State.
