Abstract
Sets out the findings of the research commissioned by the Department of the Environment (DoE) and undertaken by the Impact Assessment Unit. The principal aim of the research is to establish clearly what changes, if any, there have been in the quality of Environmental Statements since the earlier DoE commissioned study which covered the period July 1988 to December 1989.
