Abstract
The many different interests which exist along our coastal lands, and in our inshore waters, have seldom been considered together. CCW emphasises that the land and sea represent a continuum, both in terms of geomorphology and ecology, and of human use and exploitation. The maritime zone is a whole and must be treated as such if its wildlife and natural beauty are to be retained. This document sets out CCW's policies on how such holistic management can be achieved.
