Abstract
Addresses issues relating to the functioning of the European system for the classification of the reaction to fire performance of construction products (Euroclasses), within the context of the Construction Products Directive (CPD). Arrangements for the transition from existing national classifications for fire performance to the new European systems are not dealt with here. Intended for technical specification writers for consideration together with the respective mandates and provisions.
