Abstract
Advice for employers (in particular SME’s), and the self-employed, on the requirements of the dangerous substances atmospheres regulations 2002 (DSEAR). Subjects covered include an explanation of DSEAR, dangerous substances, explosive atmospheres, how to apply DSEAR, the requirements for employers and the self-employed, risk assessment, safety measures, arrangements needed for dealing with accidents, incidents and emergencies, and the information, instruction and training necessary for employees.
