Sets out the results of a large-scale survey exercise that assesses how much people would be willing to pay to stop the external environmental effects of quarrying for construction aggregates, both in their locality and in landscapes of national importance. The research was mainly undertaken to inform decisions about the regulation and possible taxation of the aggregates industry.
