Abstract
The Websol system was used to construct the abutments to a road bridge and a rail bridge along a section of the Carmarthen bypass (A48) built over soft alluvial deposits on the floodplain of the Afon Tywi. This report monitors the long term performance of the structure and presents and discusses data obtained from site surveys up to June 1994.
