Abstract
Assists Regional Planning Bodies (RPGs) and others involved in the Regional Planning Guidance (RPG) process to develop a robust framework for performance review and monitoring of RPG. Sets out the national and regional monitoring context to RPG, basic principles, and an objectives-led approach to monitoring. Describes how the development of a monitoring framework is integrated into the different stages of RPG preparation. Advises on the development of targets and the development of indicators for RPG.
