Abstract
Noise and interview surveys conducted prior to the resurfacing of a jointed concrete section of the M40 in Summer 1994, and one and four years later; measuring the effectiveness of porous asphalt in reducing traffic noise at a distance from the motorway, and effects of the noise changes on nearby residents.
