Abstract
The Code deals with the work involved in proportionally balancing and regulating water flow rates in water distribution systems. It represents standards of good practice which are presented in the form of recommendations and guidance generally accepted within the building engineering services industry. Compliance with this Code should satisfy building control officers that the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations in respect of commissioning of the water distribution elements of heating, cooling and water services systems have been met. The emphasis is on building heating and cooling systems though it may also be applied to other. types of water distribution systems in buildings and industry.
