Abstract

Aims to give general guidance to Site Managers on the acquisition, keeping, transfer, storage, transportation and use of explosives in the construction industry. Further guidance on the use of explosives is given in section 8A - demolition. Advice on the explosives used in cartridge operated fixing tools is given in section 13 - portable tools.
