Airports policy - a flawed approach

Abstract
Presents another perspective on the studies being carried out by DETR to assess the future demand for airport capacity in different parts of the UK and the scope for airport expansion in each region. Argues that these studies contain a serious flaw, in which no account is being taken of the appropriate future price of air travel relative to other goods and services.
