Abstract
Discusses the options for setting out an action programme to deliver sustainable communities for all in the area of the London Thames Gateway. In this area, the focus and special powers of an Urban Development Corporation (UDC) will be required to deliver the necessary change and maximise private investment. This consultation paper also describes the powers of the new UDC and the composition of the Board required to ensure it delivers sustainable regeneration.
