Abstract
Seeks comments on a draft of a new Planning policy statement (PPS) 22: renewable energy. This PPS will replace Planning policy guidance note 22: renewable energy (PPG22). PPS22 sets out the Government's broad policy objectives relevant to renewable energy in England, and its proposed planning policies that will help deliver these objectives. These policies are based on the principles set out in the Government's recent Energy White Paper.
