Abstract
When assessed by specified tests, these cables produce lower levels of smoke and corrosive products under exposure to fire, compared with corresponding cables conforming to BS 4553-1 and BS 4553-2.
Document History
Supersedes BS 4553:1992. The provisions introduced by amendment No.1:2004 are effective from 1st April 2004. The original version of this standard remains current until 31st March 2006 - and is available from BSI Customer Services Telephone 020 8996 9001.
