Abstract
General guidance is given for fusion welding of metallic products including cast, wrought, extruded or forged.
Document History
Partially supersedes BS 5135:1984. Users should be aware of the differences between BS 5135 where arc energy is used and BS EN 1011 where the concept of heat energy is used. These terms are not interchangeable and care should be used when transposing data from BS 5135 and BS EN 1011. Superseded by BS EN 1011-1:2009.
