Abstract
The main aim of the directive is to prevent and limit negative environmental effects by emissions from the incineration and co-incineration of waste. This is the second consultation on the directive and incorporates many comments made on the first paper.

Superseded by Environmental permitting guidance - the directive on the incineration of waste: for the Environmental permitting (England and Wales) regulations 2007.
