Abstract
Covers two types of admixtures, long term retarding and air entraining/plasticising which are used in ready-mixed and site made masonry mortars.
Document History
This document is a candidate harmonized European Standard and takes into account the requirements of EC mandate M128 products related to concrete, mortar and grout. Will supersede BS 4887-1:1986 and BS 4887-2:1987 after a transition period. See additional information in the National Foreword regarding the use of records for corrosion behaviour in Table 1 within the UK and Europe.
