Abstract
Specifies the loading to be used for the design of highway bridges and associated structures through the attached revision of composite version of BS 5400: Part 2. This revision also includes the clauses that relate to railway bridge live load.

The National Roads Authority's (NRA) primary function, under the Roads Act 1993, was to secure the provision of a safe and efficient network of National roads. They were responsible for the planning and supervision of construction and maintenance, publishing the NRA DMRB and NRA MCDRW.
