Abstract

The Serviced Land Initiative scheme for the provision of water and waste water infrastructure has been in operation since 1997 with the objective of encouraging the supply of additional serviced land for housing. The scheme was initially aimed at local authorities and provided a 40% subsidy towards the cost of approved works.
