Abstract

Represents a consensus among the worlds leading climate scientists that rapid climate changes are occurring on a global scale. In establishing indicators of climate change a distinction can be made between primary indicators, based on direct observations, and secondary indicators, based on responses of the living world to climate changes which provoke a response in living organisms.
