Abstract

Details are given for a calculation model that estimates the total equivalent sound absorption area or reverberation time of enclosed spaces in buildings, based on measured data that characterises the sound absorption of materials and objects. It describes the principles, application and restrictions as well as listing the relevant quantities of the calculation model.
