Abstract
Focuses on the processes involved in preparing local development frameworks (LDFs). Covers the main principles for LDFs; components of the LDFs; the main stages in the process for preparing development plan documents; deciding on the contents of the LDF and preparing the local development scheme; project and programme management; managing community involvement; development plan documents production stage; development plan document and examination and adoption; producing supplementary planning documents; revising LDFs; and publishing and disseminating the LDF.
