Abstract
To explain the implementation of the certification system with regard to schemes approved under Section 7(2) of the Act. It includes examples of schemes and certificates. Certification is an optional procedure for the implementation of building regulations in Scotland and is only relevant to work that is subject to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004.
Document History
The new systems will come into operation on 1st May 2005 and the current system will remain in operation until 30th April 2005. This is a preliminary version of the certification handbook, a final version will be published in early 2005.
