Abstract
Reviews part 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, as it applies to England and Wales, and seeks comments on its proposals. The aim of the review is to ensure that the legislation remains relevant for the 21st century, and that it affords necessary and appropriate levels of protection without imposing unnecessary controls on people's activities.
