Abstract
Provides guidance on the use of light and colour design in hospitals. In particular, it is concerned with public spaces, which include the entrance and reception areas, circulation spaces and hospital wards. Evidence is cited indicating that the design of the visual environment can have a positive effect on the well-being of occupants.
