Abstract

The main objective of the planning statistics is to monitor the implementation of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Acts 1963 - 1999. Most of the statistics relate to development control procedures (planning applications, appeals, fees, enforcement, etc.) and provide an up-to-date picture of the current situation as well as the trends emerging in relation to the operation of the physical planning system as a whole.
