Abstract
Presents the findings of a national survey commissioned by Sport England, The Countryside Agency and English Heritage to help establish how many adults in England use public parks. The survey also aimed to find out what activities people take part in when visiting parks, the reasons why they choose particular parks and levels of satisfaction with amenities on offer. Nonusers of parks were asked why they did not use them.
