Abstract
Establishes a level of particulate cleanliness verification for both new and existing ventilation systems and an indication of when it is considered appropriate to clean systems in use. Includes section on kitchen extract systems. Establishes levels of grease surface deposit at which it is appropriate to clean a kitchen extract ventilation system and at which post-clean verification is achieved. Includes guidelines to ensure that new ductwork systems remain protected during the installation period and prior to commissioning.
