Abstract

Potentially explosive atmospheres occur in many industries, and failure to adopt correct and safe working practices can result in the ignition of explosive gasses and dust clouds. Based upon the requirements of International and European standards, this handbook serves to provide solutions to most issues connected to Installation, inspection, test, maintenance and, to a lesser extent, decommissioning of electrically powered plant in potentially explosive atmospheres.
