Abstract
Sets out how contractual issues should be dealt with in the project agreement for a PFI scheme in the NHS. The intention behind the guidance is that the time and costs associated with negotiating a PFI transaction in the NHS should be kept to a minimum. This guidance is supplemented by a standard form contract which is available from the NHS Executive. The guidance outlines the main commercial principles to be included in the project agreement.
