Abstract
Brief guidance to help designers satisfy their duties under regulation 13 of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 (CDM). Areas covered include hazardous materials, asbestos, musculo-skeletal injury, noise, excavating, erection of structures, steelwork erection, refurbishment, temporary works equipment, working at height, roofs, spatial designs, suspended access equipment, blockwork, demolition, manual handling, and use of cranes.
