Abstract
Evaluates the drivers that are prompting interest in, and greater use of, modern methods of construction, which can be used as a key tool in urban regeneration. This report also explores the key issues that must be addressed in order for modern methods of construction to be applied more widely across the regeneration sector in the future. This paper also considers how a shortage of skills in the construction sector, in tandem with increased demand for high quality housing, could provide the impetus for modern methods of construction.
