Abstract
A simplified design approach for wind loads on traditional buildings was developed for the DETR by BRE under the guidance of an industry Steering Group. Developed specifically for inclusion in AD A of the England and Wales Building Regulations. This report extends the methodology to the wind climate in Scotland.
