Abstract
Sets out the Government's recommendations to revise and update the 1989 Model standards for permanent residential mobile home sites (The Model Standards). The Model Standards are good practice standards involving layout and provision of facilities, services and equipment for parks.

Consultation closed on 13 April 2006. Superseded by Model standards 2008 for caravan sites in England - caravan sites and control of development act 1960 - section 5 (DCLG, 2008).
