Abstract

Relates to the recent amendment regulation concerning energy efficiency requirements in the Building Regulations and the revision of Approved Document F - Ventilation. Section 2 looks at the four Approved document L (L1A, L1B, L2A and L2b) and details the objectives and analysis of costs and benefits and discusses the impact test for small firms. Section 3 deals with Approved document F and looks at the purpose and intended effect of measure, consultation, options, sectors and groups affected, benefits and costs, the small firms impact test (SFIT), competition assessment, enforcement and sanctions, implementation and delivery plan and the post-implementation review.
