Abstract
Outlines the key findings and conclusions from the evaluation of the performance of the 2005-06 Planning Standards Authorities in England against the Best Value performance standards they had been set, and the ability of these authorities to achieve more demanding national targets by March 2007. The report also identifies key transferable lessons that may be helpful to other authorities.
