Abstract
Principles and methods for the structural design, strength and stability checking of timber frame buildings, with worked examples including calculations for a complete house. Though based on recommendations in BS 5268-2 and BS 5268-6, procedures widely used in the design of timber frame houses from outside of these codes is included.
