Abstract
Gives terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, determines dimensions, moisture content and density of test pieces. Also determines local modulus of elasticity in bending, global modulus of elasticity in bending, shear modulus for both single and variable span methods, bending strength, modulus of elasticity in tension parallel to the grain, tension strength parallel to the grain, modulus of elasticity in compression parallel to the grain, compression strength parallel to grain, tension and compression strengths perpendicular to the grain, modulus of elasticity perpendicular to the grain, shear strength parallel to the grain and test reports.
